The Inspiring Story of Sam McDonald

One of the earliest black lawmen in California (among other things)

Sam McDonald became the first black man to supervise an athletic program at a major university: Stanford. He was also one of the first black lawmen in California, serving as Deputy Constable for Palo Alto, as Deputy Sheriff for Santa Clara County, and as a Secret Service Agent for the Treasury Department.

That is just the beginning of this man's inspiring story.
